''Satyrium polingi'', Poling's Hairstreak, is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. It was described by Barnes & Benjamin in 1926. It is found from southern New Mexico and western Texas south to north-eastern Mexico.〔(Satyrium at funet )〕 The habitat consists of oak woodlands. The wingspan is 25–30 mm. The underside of the hindwings is dark-brown with a blue tail-spot capped with orange. There is a black-edged white W-shape near the inner margin. Adults feed on flower nectar.
